Many factors might contribute to this situation, including: mesh tension too low, mesh count too low, registration setting is loose, and no off contact.
- Make sure your screen is 1/8th inch off the substrate you are printing onto. With too low of off contact the ink will either smear on the shirt, pull the ink, or stay in the screen mesh.
- Make sure there is no movement on your registration every time you print with each head. Most of the time, a blurry means that the screen that you used moved while in the process of printing.
- In very rare cases, there are screens out there that does not have enough tension, or there is too much slack on the screen causing it to sit on the print. In case this happens, you want to adjust the off contact higher than normal, and either replace or remesh that screen when possible.
