I am printing White ink and my customers are experiencing peeling and cracking when they wash their shirts.
i am sure it is comethat I am missing. We are using a heat gun to cure the ink (inconsistent I am sure). We are using plastisol ink is ther anythign else I should be doing?
The most likely culprit: the inks are improperly cured.
Plastisol needs to achieve at least 320 degrees to be properly cured. That is 320 from surface to garment, so if you have a thicker ink like a white you will want to give it a little more time to penetrate the garment fully.
Always do a test print and wash for best results prior to delivering the job if at all possible.
